Features in Leading RIM BlackBerry OS 6

Research In Motion has just presented the latest operating system for their most popular communication device, BlackBerry. The first handset that has been directly operating system is equipped BlackBerry 9800 Torch, touch screen plus QWERTY smartphone.

BlackBerry 6 uses a redesigned interface to be able to work well with touch screen and a Qwerty keyboard or trackpad. Messaging capability is now extended to simplify the management of social media and RSS feeds.
A new Universal Search tools are provided to facilitate users in performing a search. The new WebKit-based browser can also perform efficient rendering of web pages visited.

Applications New Text Messages from RIM also offers additional features for users who rely on SMS and MMS communication. Now the application can see the conversation in a single threaded 'chat' including to share photos, videos, and other contents.

Although intended for BlackBerry smartphones Torch that will be present on August 12, these and other products to come, the operating system is also compatible with previous generation BlackBerry is already available in the market such as BlackBerry Bold 9700, BlackBerry Bold 9650, and the BlackBerry Pearl 3G.
