Fix Windows XP Shutdown Process

The following tips will reduce the time needed for Windows XP to close an application that is run when we give the Shutdown command.

Click the Start button -> Run, then type regedit press enter, then find the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop \, then the right window locate and select the string WaitToKillAppTimeout right click on the string and select Modify, then change the value in Value Data to 1000 and then click OK.

Then locate and select the string HungAppTimeout, do the same with the above change the value to 1000, and then click OK.
